This is a fairly new product that is quite different in what The Body Shop normally does.  I was excited about it after watching Amena’s video featuring Vanda a global skincare specialist and she talks about how oils changed her life. Over time with oils she was able to treat her scars which faded away.

Talking a little bit about the oil itself, it is made of cold pressed seed oils and the three oils are Black Cumin seed oil which comes from Egypt, Camelia seed oil comes from China and Rosehip seed oil comes from Chille.  One of the factors that stood out to me was that this oil was made with all natural ingredients.  There are no harsh chemicals, animal testing or animal products used that you need to worry about and The Body Shop is 100% Cruelty Free!  It is also meant to fade away scars and I don’t have any but I’ve noticed it has made my skin brighter and leaving it with a lovely glow.

I’ve been using this oil for about 5 months now and I’m glad I made the choice of adding this to my skincare routine.  I absolutely love it.  I like to use this in the morning after cleansing the skin.  Apply two drops and rub between my hands and massage gently into my skin followed by my face cream. It leaves the skin feeling soft with just the right amount of moisture.  It is lightweight and absorbs into the skin without leaving a greasy or oily residue on the surface.  This facial oil is suitable for any skin types and has a light fresh scent that’s not overpowering.

I would highly recomment this oil for anyone looking to add a little extra moisture to there skincare routine and also have a product that feels luxury but doesnt cost a fortune.
