Today I’m sharing something special with you guys and it’s not fashion related.  Since I’m a big fan of dessert,  I thought I’d share a special recipe that was my dad’s recipe. This one was for Banana Cakes or Muffins, whichever you prefer.  I love baking and just food in general.  My parents love to cook and create their own special dishes especially when we had guests over. Baking was something I enjoyed with my dad, when I was younger.  We baked with many recipes, some turned out perfect and some were a fail.  This Banana Cake or Muffins recipe was his recipe and we baked with this recipe often; I still do.  It’s an easy recipe with a few simple steps and basic ingredients.  You can add Almonds or Chocolate Chips if you wish and I’m sure the cake will turn out amazing.

So here it is, my dad’s recipe – Banana Cake/Muffins

1/2 cup butter

3/4 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 banana’s (mashed)

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1 cup flour

1 tbsp boiling milk

Preheat oven at 350 degrees Celsius.  Mix flour and baking powder together and set aside.  Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and mix together really well.  Add eggs to mix with mashed banana’s and mix together.  Add baking soda to boiling milk to disolve then add to mixture.  Next, hastly add flour and baking powder into the mix and beat until smooth with a thick consistency.  Bake in two greased cake pans or lined muffin pans.  Bake for 20 minutes. Top with whipping cream and sliced banana’s and enjoy.  I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do. Let me know in the comments if you tried this recipe and how you liked it.
